Building Canada Fund - Ontario: Partners
Through the Building Canada Fund (BCF), the Government of Canada and the Government of Ontario are working in partnership with Ontario municipalities to improve and revitalize public infrastructure across the province.
Works with its partners to meet the evolving infrastructure needs of Canadian communities, and to support the quality of life of Canadians through a variety of programs, including the Building Canada Fund in Ontario.
The department oversaw Building Canada negotiations with provinces and territories on behalf of the Government of Canada.

The Building Canada Fund, Communities Component (BCF-CC) Joint Secretariat
The governments of Ontario and Canada have established a joint secretariat to administer the BCF-CC program.
The Joint Secretariat is composed of employees of Industry Canada and the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs. As needed, Federal departments, Provincial Ministries and agencies provide technical expertise to the Joint Secretariat.
The agency's programs will support economic and community development, innovation, and economic diversification, with contributions to communities, businesses and non-profit organizations. It will help workers, communities and businesses in Southern Ontario position themselves to take advantage of opportunities, as economic growth recovers in Canada and around the world. In particular, FedDev Ontario is responsible for managing and implementing the Building Canada Fund in Ontario on behalf of the Government of Canada.
